“The genius of a Shirley temple, makes a kid feel like he’s one of the adults” (me at 19 still ordering Shirley temples😭)

A Christmas Story Christmas manages to capture some of the magic of the original while still implementing some new fun things. Most of the jokes land, the nostalgia hits, and it ultimately proves to be heartwarming. 

It’s most fun when we see the original actors return. They all slip right back into their roles and provide a fun adult version of their characters. It sometimes felt like the original all over again.

It’s a fun film and a worthy sequel to the original that will even tug at your heart strings a bit.
