Hope this gets to screen in New Orleans eventually because it's basically the reality that every old-timey dude in the Bywater wishes he was living.
Even though this is isn't the sort of film to inspire love, I do love that this film was made. A direct portrait of the punk lifestyle in the peri-Grunge era and a great document of a subculture whose history remains largely unwritten. I adore this film for its resolutely minor focus: the Southern cultural backwater its story spans, the bands it commemorates, the non-acting acting.
