A friend from high school recommend this movie to me back when it came out in theaters, and I only got around to seeing it now. I don't usually get recommended movies, but I was intrigued with the concept.
I give this movie 4 stars for most of the reasons Letterboxd user Arielrocks5 did (a fantastic reviewer). The lighting looked great, the cinematography was more creative than your average teen film, and I was honestly on the edge of my seat for every one of those dares; they were gripping, and every time, I was convinced someone would die (not going to tell you if they do or don't).
The very end was okay compared to the rest of the movie, but I'm okay with that. Is this a great film? Not really, but I really enjoyed it, so it accomplished its goal.
