Josh’s review published on Letterboxd:
Ok, this is unfair.
How was I blessed with two 2018 masterpieces in a row?!
But in all seriousness though, this was sooo much better than I had expected it to be.
This film shows us the actual truth; this is what America has become now, and it’s scary.
Everything's hidden right in plain sight and we just don't fucking realize it at all because we’re looking at something else.
It’s also the most intense experience (no argument) I’ve had at the theater this year, because holy shit, I took my friend and we were actually clenching our seats so tightly, we were terrified.
This is the wake-up call that America needs right now, and we finally got it right.
But that freestyle at the end…fucking haunting.
I didn't mean to.
Are you sure?
