Josh’s review published on Letterboxd:
I’m so glad that films like this exists.
An intense & gripping epic of LA crime of cops and robbers dueling against one another; mentally and psychically.
It’s monstrous and chaotic delivery blends well with its more intimate moments, letting us connect with every character we’ve been introduced too.
Pacino and De Niro are wild, unhinged.
A clever game of cat & mouse that results in one of the coldest confrontations I’ve ever seen.
It took me too long to finally watch this, but I’m amazed at Michael Mann’s talents as a writer/director and anticipating what he’s done next.
Brother, you are going down!
