Viewed in IMAX
I still can’t believe that Spielberg was able to pull off something like this.
From the opening alone, hearing Jump play as we venture through the Oasis was fucking beautiful.
It’s a marvelous film to watch and stare at, especially in IMAX.
Spielberg KNOWS how to bring his audience into the worlds he makes.
It all felt so genuine, and that opening race sequence and the final battle left my jaw dropped, along with a few other moments.
I’ve never loved pop culture more.
Besides some weak supporting character development, it’s an excellent feat that I’m glad I was able to experience in the theater in this day-and-age of popcorn entertainment.
Spielberg is the GOAT!
