You could’ve convinced me this wasn’t a horror film and I still would've been absolutely terrified.
Say what you want about him, but Polanski knew how to direct the shit out of a film.
A claustrophobic, horrifying real film about trust and paranoia.
The conception scene is by far one of the scariest sequences in cinematic history.
And that ending…truly something you never want to experience.
This also has probably the most hated characters in any horror film.
I fucking hated Guy, I hated the Cassavets, I hated the whole cult.
One of the greatest cinematic achievements in horror.
