The proof that when you know how to use well the language of cinema, you can turn even a soft-porn story into a great movie.
First the things I liked. The amount of footage from friends, family, media etc. The film shows scenes from every stage of her life since the childhood until her success and downward spiral. I don't mean to say it shows/explains everything about her, her personality and her dilemmas (a person is way too complex for a 2h film), but it helps us to begin to understand the person behind the artist.
