    A Star Is Born

Makes me want to go back and give another star to the Judy Garland version, just to show that this is that much worse.

    Bohemian Rhapsody

I got the fucking chills when "We Will Rock You" started up.

    First Man

Obviously it’s good, Chazelle and Gosling doesn’t do not good. But I’m ready to watch emotionally available, cheerful men achieve great things.

Filmmakers, please put hardcoded subtitles on the non-english parts of your movie. Do not rely on the streaming services (or the producers of the physical media) to handle the soft subs for you. Sometimes they don’t.

Anyway, this is an aesthetically pleasing, perfectly okay, harmless little film.

John Cho should have been in movies (or at least in better tv shows) a long time ago. He’s good.

    A Star Is Born

JFC, this felt like an absolute vanity project for Judy Garland, where nobody dare to say no to her.

They should have. They should have said no to a lot of things.

  • A Star Is Born

    A Star Is Born

This is likely the last film I'll ever watch in the cinema.

I have had enough of all of you idiots who can't shut up or put away your phones for two hours.

I don't care what the hell is going on with your throat, if you can't clear it with a (as in ONE, 1) cough? GET OUT.

If you like what you see on the screen? KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.

If you don't like what you see on…

  • The Phantom of the Opera

    The Phantom of the Opera

Not to state the obvious, but Hugh Jackman would have been so much better as the Phantom...

  • To All the Boys I've Loved Before

To All the Boys I've Loved Before

I wish the ending was a bit less cliché, but otherwise it’s a refreshing and cute teen romantic comedy.

  • Ant-Man and the Wasp

    Ant-Man and the Wasp

Should have been better, could have been worse.

I hope Hannah John-Kamen gets at least one (non-villainous) actual character, and not just "evil tough chick" role before she's inevitably replaced by the new flavor of the month.

But until that just watch Killjoys.

    Best movie ever?

  • Mission: Impossible - Fallout

    Mission: Impossible - Fallout

Mission: Impossible – Fallout: 9.5/10 (I'm not a fan of helicopter chases)

Tom Cruise running in Mission: Impossible – Fallout: 14/10

    Avengers: Infinity War

Not gonna lie, it crushed my soul that I didn't love it completely :(
