    Avengers: Infinity War

    ★★★★½

I liked it more than the first time, but all those effin' nanosuits are just... argh.

  • The Spy Who Dumped Me

    The Spy Who Dumped Me

    ★★★

Not good as a comedy, but it's actually a half decent action movie.

It's always good to watch Tom Hanks, even when he's catfishing someone...

    This movie didn't age well.

Lee's big entrance was very underwhelming (and stupidly cut), but otherwise it's the perfect fairy tale antidote for the shitty world we live in right now.

  • Run Lola Run

    Run Lola Run

    ★★½

I wish I had seen this 20 years ago, because now I can only see it as a pretentious, typical, "90s aestethic" trash. And not the good kind.

I FEEL THE NEED, THE NEED FOR SPEEEEED!!!

Makes me want to go back and give another star to the Judy Garland version, just to show that this is that much worse.

    Seriously.

I got the fucking chills when "We Will Rock You" started up.

  • First Man

Obviously it’s good, Chazelle and Gosling doesn’t do not good. But I’m ready to watch emotionally available, cheerful men achieve great things.

Filmmakers, please put hardcoded subtitles on the non-english parts of your movie. Do not rely on the streaming services (or the producers of the physical media) to handle the soft subs for you. Sometimes they don’t.

Anyway, this is an aesthetically pleasing, perfectly okay, harmless little film.

John Cho should have been in movies (or at least in better tv shows) a long time ago. He’s good.

JFC, this felt like an absolute vanity project for Judy Garland, where nobody dare to say no to her.

They should have. They should have said no to a lot of things.

    A Star Is Born

This is likely the last film I'll ever watch in the cinema.

I have had enough of all of you idiots who can't shut up or put away your phones for two hours.

I don't care what the hell is going on with your throat, if you can't clear it with a (as in ONE, 1) cough? GET OUT.

If you like what you see on the screen? KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.

If you don't like what you see on…
