Don’t go into the long grass!

This film was my introduction to the Jurassic Park franchise and is the reason why I fell in love with dinosaurs, whilst I now appreciate the first one for the masterpiece it is, this one is still my favourite.

The opening scene gave me nightmares as a kid, it perfectly sets up the dark tone this film is going for, unlike Jurassic Park’s bright colour palette this film has a darker aesthetic which helps it…

You forgot one very important thing mate,
    I'm Captain Jack Sparrow.

From the moment I first saw this in the cinema I’ve always adored this movie even when my young feeble mind couldn’t articulate why.. but now I can.

I love this film, it honesty feels so refreshing for a comedy, the jokes are nonstop but hidden between them are some real heartfelt emotional moments.

    John Wick: Chapter 4

It does start a little slow out of the gate before kicking into gear, Caine is a fucking bad ass, the whole third act in Paris is jaw dropping cinema, I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

Who knows when or if we’ll see another John Wick but if they do I hope they give us a break for a few years, let us soak in this finale and let it breathe.

R.I.P. Lance Reddick, you will be greatly missed❤️
