    Hacksaw Ridge

Mel Gibson certainly doesn't shy away from violence....or green screens.

That's my biggest gripe with this film. There are so many bad green screen shots in this that it just got embarrassing after a while. I was shocked at how bad some of them were. Really...they were awful.

Other than that, this fine. It's another run of the mill war drama. Even though I had never seen this before, I felt like I had seen it a thousand…

    Yes, yes, I know...

    "The Oscars are dumb"

    "Who cares whose nominated?"

    "The Oscars are pointless"

    "The Oscars don't matter"

"Why do you care about the Oscars?"

I hear you but the thing is sometimes when I really like something, it's nice to see it get recognition that I think it deserves. Awards wise or publicity wise. So the point is, Amy Adams was SNUBBED!!!!

And can I just from the opening…

I think Denis Villeneuve could film a man sitting on a toilet for two hours and it would still make my brain explode.

This film was so amazing. I'm at loss of words. The film, for starters, is incredibly intriguing. Imagine Aliens landed and you had to figure out how to communicate. They don't know English. They don't know what a hand wave is. What do you do? The film breaks that down in such an entertaining way.
