It's not really an edge that you're good-looking and talented for someone to discover your potential. Aside from that, Llewyn Davis drifter persona is not what we usually like to mingle with.

Oscar Isaac is handsome and he delivers a memorable performance. Deserving of a Golden Globes nomination for Best Actor in a Musical/Comedy.

I think Llewyn Davis and Holly Golightly could be a perfect couple. Llewyn may have his own version of "Moon River".

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner but reverse? Well, this might have been Guess Who but it's not.

Simon Baker is handsome but that doesn't limit him to portray an affectionate landscape architect. I felt his uneasiness and being uncomfortable as he experienced not welcomed in a community On the other hand, Sanaa Lathan is wonderful. I need to rewatch Love and Basketball (200) and need to see her other films like Brown Sugar and Nappily Ever After. She may be considered as Black American rom com queen.

With an excellent ensemble of actors including Taraji P. Henson, Alfre Woodard and Blair Underwood, it's fun to watch.

May pagka-Japanese horror film ang feels na pinaghalong A Quiet Place, Under the Skin, Silent Hill at medyo Cabin in the Woods. Siyempre, magaling sina Glaiza De Castro at Bing Pimentel.

It feels like Taklub meets Ang Huling Birhen sa Lupa with absurdity.

Philippine cinema only have few disaster films that sticks to mind of audience. Most of the time, it's only used as a portion from the whole story then it will go back to melodrama.

Taklub (2015) is a disaster film where we witness how the affected people cope with and deal with grief and trauma of what's considered as storm of the century.
