A comic book adaptation similar to the caliber of The Avengers, X-Men:Days of Future Past, Iron Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy. This film differs greatly from such confused, non-cohesive, overloud, and overlong movies within the DC Universe like Batman vs. Superman, Suicide Squad, and Man of Steel. Gal Godot and Chris Pine are a solid pairing, and Patty Jenkins adds the feminine touch that this character requires.
One of the worst written movies I have seen recently, but it does have some nice shots invoking German Expressionism and some interesting homages to silent horror flicks. Overall I could only recommend this movie to hardcore horror fans and those interested in the special effects evolution of shoestring-budget horror cinema.
