Here's another movie I watched that's in the folk filmmaking movement on YouTube. I chose this out of RC Films' releases bc it was the shortest, I'll be honest. But also the concept caught my eye. Without any spoilers, it is a found footage film set in the 90s that feels like a home movie. And it perfectly captures that vibe. Having watched some real home movies on YouTube from that decade, this totally felt like those. And the set design and clothing are period accurate. Outside of the technical aspects, the story is compelling. It's fun at first hanging out with these characters and then when I got further into the story, I was fully invested. The characters feel like their ages and not like actors outside of the beginning a bit. The ending is fantastic, and completely unexpected. This is probably my new favorite folk film. Definitely check it out!
