Nothing about the advertising of this film particularly appealed to me, other than Daniel Radcliffe of course, who is a treasure in absolutely everything. That said it was an unapologetic celebration of the adventure/comedy/romance genre and made me wonder why more movies don’t embrace this wonderful kind of authentic optimism about their subject matter. It’s truly hilarious, genuinely romantic, and surprisingly fun all the way through.
