The always shaking camera, horribly under lit scenes, and fast cut editing during action creates a visually hideous movie that’s tedious to watch. It is really easy to see how this movie is influenced by John Wick. However, unlike John Wick, this movie lacks convincing fight choreography and compelling characters. A light hearted and goofy action/adventure movie with an over reliance on digital effects.
It is expectedly quite clichéd and cartoonish but what detracts from the movie is the dull and generic dialogue and thin characterization. There are a few ham-fisted attempts at adding depth to characters but each time they are unoriginal and unexplored with any meaningful detail.
