    A mostly competently put together film but wow is it fucking boring.

    Jean Grey is flat out unlikeable and I found her situation completely uninteresting. The script is so horrendous it takes half the film for some of these characters to make the most basic of revelations.

    More of a comedy than a horror film, but I enjoyed my watch. Despite being longer than Blade Runner 2049, I can't really say I was ever bored. I like me some character development.

    It does have some really stupid plot conveniences though: how would adults forget that kind of trauma as a kid? You "forget" when you leave Derry? Yeah ok

    Last Saturday night movie night before my college MS work begins so, it's gonna be awhile til I review films on a near regular basis.

    That being said Source Code is a pretty fun time. Could have done more with the premise, honestly: I'm kind of hoping the sequel comes out (since it's somehow in development limbo?). Love me some Jake G craziness

    Um, alright then

    I get what Gaspar Noé is going for but it just didn't really work for me. I appreciate some of the main character's inner dialogue, but that's the only real positive I have to say. The acting ranges from good to almost laughably bad. The music is quite terrible: it ranges from generic to absolutely grating.

    This is basically an all around worse version of Shortbus. Both films use sex to demonstrate deeper human emotion, but Shortbus
