Jim Lamming’s review published on Letterboxd:
I'm glad I finally got around to seeing this at the cinema. It's one of those that I like the look of but there were a few other films that I'd prefer to see first, but with the backlog almost clear, it was time.
It starts off brilliantly, funny, sharp and witty. I was grinning for most of this part at how great the exchanges between the wonderful ensemble cast were, and how vicious it started to get.
Then we got to the second act, and that's where things started to slow down for me. I was still quite gripped, but it felt like it had hit a wall, and it was only when we get to the climax of the film, that it started to get back to the heights of the first act again.
While the lull in the middle left a bit to be desired, everything else comes together so well, and by the time it had finished I'd had a great time.
