    I Care a Lot

Netflix..Rosamond Pike and Peter Dinklage, what awful, terrible, reprehensible villains for a movie. They did a beautiful job making you hope they get theirs in the end and I will avoid any spoilers at this point. This was a scary story since I am sure there are blood suckers out there just like the one Rosamond portrayed and the system that feeds it. A really entertaining movie that keeps your interest till the very end. Not sure the lesbian angle…

Netflix,..A tender, emotional and moving film with a good message. Nothing real unexpected in the story or the dialogue but totally engrossing. Sophia Loren does a great job as Rosa and Ibrahima Gueye is an engaging and likable Moma although he has his bratty moments. Sophia is proof that time dies not slow down for anyone but you can age gracefully and beautifully.

    Judas and the Black Messiah

HBOMax..A well written, well acted and well directed movie. It is really pretty historically accurate, including the dialogue when Hampton was fatally shot. Once again the American government both locally and nationally does not come out looking good. However, if viewed in the real time versus viewed in today’s time their actions were not without provocation. This is not BPP good, cops and FBI bad. The BPP did many good and valuable things for the black community and the movie…

Amazon Prime .This is a well done story based on actual events. It seems the Europeans are quite good at WWll movies. The battle scenes are really well done and the dialogue is actually very good, not at all corny or hokey. Would have preferred if it was done with closed captioning rather than dubbed in English for a more realistic feel. Take the time to watch it if you are a history/war buff.
