"That was the best acting I’ve ever seen in my whole life." -Little girl,

Second Watch: Here are a few thoughts. Overall I liked it better the second time.
(1) The little girl and the dog are both stars
(2) The soundtrack is great, but I miss when Tarantino's soundtracks were awesome and taught me about new artists. This soundtrack rocks but in the way Jock Jams rocks.
(3) I still love the first 40 minutes and last 40 minutes. I want the middle hour and 20 minutes to be just a tad shorter.
(4) That Bruce Lee scene bothered me and it doesn't bother me as much after I read this article sent to me by Sheldrake: www.polygon.com/2019/7/29/8932193/once-upon-a-time-in-hollywood-bruce-lee-tarantino
(5) This is, for me, the best job Leonard DiCaprio has done with a role and I kind of forgot he was Leo, which is really rare for me.
(6) I find this to be Tarantino's least original story. Please don't comment about how Tarantino isn't original and just bites styles I get that argument but I think he creates interesting and unique characters and fun plots within established worlds. While different types of films, we've had Bad Times at the El Royale and a slew of other films about the end of the Hollywood era, which is something we've been whining about since 1927.
(7) I'd buy rat flavored cat food for my cats.
(8) The first time I watched this I didn't care for how many references there were to old Hollywood because it felt too overly referency to me. This time I enjoyed that a bit more.
(9) Even though I saw it 50 times in trailers, I still laughed at the "Fried Sauerkraut" line.
(10) CHEERS- Margot Robbie is pretty great as Sharon Tate and JEERS- Margot Robbie is underused as Sharon Tate. This movie is two hours and 45 minutes and I would have stayed for 10 minutes more of her.
Yeah, see it.
P.S. You were right Troy L., I bumped it up to 4 stars.
