Parasite ★★★★

How the difference between ending up in poverty or in wealth is just a matter of chance—and how trying to move upwards in class mobility is an endless, vicious cycle destined to fail.

Undoubtedly a great movie and one of my faves of the year filled with nail-biting suspense (the family back unexpectedly was stressing me out!!), some very funny dark humor, and the aforementioned commentary on wealth inequality, but I still think Bong Joon-Ho’s MEMORIES OF MURDER is his stone cold masterpiece.
