I postponed watching this gory, creepy, highly atmospheric slasher in the cinema - the popcorn kind that ironically rarely screens this kind of gems, those mfk***... - two times, either I was too tired coming from work or a bit unwell, though as they say, "third time's the charm", except for seeing those ghouly hmm...people.

For the most part the narrative is rather predictable but the horror, oh the horror. Really enjoyed it and I was pretty much staring at the ever lovely and sexy Mia Goth just as them peeps eyeballing on the big "Oscar moment"...I trust you kids watching movies, not/rarely ceremonies...✌️👊

This was a really dreamy, funny, emotional sensorial experience, throwback to not only 70's but Punch-Drunk Love in my book, Licorice being a even better film maybe. Philip would be all smiles...

One of the very few films that would deserve even more than 5 stars...incredibly poetic and sad... It was the one that left me in tears pretty much all the way...so many memories, thoughts and feelings, parallels about love, about family, your own country...

A landmark in cinema, just an overwhelming, wonderful tearjerker. Watching it, you are touched and amused at the same time by this melancholic - yet funny at times - remarcable story.

Agnès Varda is just a dream of an artist and person. Always creating everlasting humanistic poetry.
