    The Darjeeling Limited

    Well, I have no idea why it took me this long to finally finish all of Wes Anderson’s work but I finally did and I just loved this film so much. 

    It’s really special and for some reason struck a hidden chord with me that I didn’t know I had or maybe just forgot about. This film took me on such a great journey. I love movies.

    Really glad I finally watched this because it was a lot more than I was anticipating it to be. Lubezki’s eye moves with gorgeous elegance and like always Cuaron’s atmosphere had me engaged the whole time. Also, that ending hit me like a truck. Possibly one of the best I’ve seen...it’s going to sit with me.

    Had to watch this film after seeing Ex Machina yesterday. It’s really special. Beautiful aesthetic and soundtrack with some really great performances. It’s been on my list for some time so I was really glad to be able to finally check it out. Still soaking it all in. I think it has the potential to be a favorite. It might even be.
