In addition to shining some light on a real life villain, the documentary does an excellent job at showing how dirty crooked people can use the anger and dissatisfaction of citizens for their own personal benefit. It also demonstrates that emotion, not truth, can ultimately win an election. On one hand I am disgusted and on the other hand I'm just in awe that millions of Americans were actually successfully manipulated by Stone and the other Trump goons.
I can spend all day and night thinking of insulting things to say about Roger Stone, but the fact of the matter is that he achieved his goal. It sort of makes me think of what Ron Burgundy says to his dog after he poops in the refrigerator and eats a wheel of cheese. "I'm not even mad. That's amazing!"
I just wish I didn't have to compare America to shit in a fridge.
