Althought not as consistently funny as the first, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm sees Sacha Baron Cohen return with the same spirit and exuberance he gifted us 14 years ago. A real breath of fresh air.
I think I speak for most people when I say I was a little skeptical after hearing the news about an upcoming sequel. I was concerned about the possible changes Borat could endure after 14 years. And would ya look at that, he's hardly changed a bit. The best part is most of the people haven't changed at all either. Its both baffling and hilarious how these people are still holding up confederate flags amongst many other things Borat ridiculed all the way back in 2006. And just like in 2006, its fucking hilarious, but tinged with the shocking sting of stupidity. Even Hitchcock couldn't have created the amount of tension in that Rudy Giuliani scene.
Not gonna lie that song Borat and his two best boyfriends wrote had a pretty sick beat
