The super-hit jodi of Namaste England fame is back! -- (I'm kidding guys)
On the one hand, nobody watched that film and rightly so. It was abysmal. Many will also not watch this one too because of the recent track record of these stars. That on the other hand, is a shame. I say that, but this judgement should probably be limited to those that go by cast and trailers, which I presume is most people.
I'd say this might just be career bests in terms of performances from both Parineeti and Arjun. It's a film that's on a premise-level familiar, yet on every other level from plot progression to dialogue to music to performances to direction a pleasant surprise.
If you look at the writer and director credits, it's actually not that much of a stretch that this was better than decent. Recommended watch.
