Even with the minor disappointments I still got what I wanted out of this. Monsters fighting monsters, people seeing the inside of the monster's mouth through glass, and just the right amount of over the top craziness.
A coming of age movie that felt incredibly genuine and didn't dwell on belaboring its message. It handeled youthful spats between female friends in a way I've not seen but in real life.
