Alex Thompson’s review published on Letterboxd:
Almost the exact same thing as the first version of the film up until the blood starts falling. Then things get a little wilder and wackier thanks to better visual effects and the choice to have Carrie wave her hands around to visualize her powers rather than the 70s version which had her standing still and using her eye movements to sell the psycho. Neither is a better choice than the other, it's just different. Of course, a version of that ending is still here although it's probably sillier. That's a good thing. Also, the mean girl is even more infuriating than the original one, so that's also something.
