Watched after hot pot dinner with matcha mochi cake dessert. Thought this was going to be a romcom but turned out to be way heavier than I expected. I was quite surprised by how progressive it was for being 25+ years old though. It’s always nice to see Taiwan so casually mentioned, too. Simon is a gem. The intro scenes with him taking care of everything are incredible. Lying and weddings as a guise and secrets—The Farewell parallels were plentiful. Moral of the story: lie a lot!!!!!!
