Andrew Jupin’s review published on Letterboxd:
I liked the story and a good amount of the performances, including Jamie Clayton, Hiam Abbas, and Goran Visnjic, but I gotta say, not crazy about the cenobite design. Just left me cold. Total lack of the BDSM vibes we know and love in a Hellraiser picture.
Another knock against it, at two hours, this wears out its welcome. Things felt very slow and repetitive.
And can somebody please light these productions? I know it’s a spooky movie, but I would’ve loved to have seen some of it in the frame.
