Consider me surprised, as someone who really didn't like the first John Wick, this one worked for me pretty damn well. Not perfect, but pretty pretty good.
I loved this.
Herzog's amazing at finding great characters to speak on camera. Yes, tackling the internet as a broad topic is to much, there doesn't seem to be a true thesis other then "the internet exists." But the people Herzog gets to talk for each chapter are amazing, I could have kept watching. The half star is only for the lack of a thesis which Herzog is usually aces at, but that doesn't mean I didn't find myself enthralled with this film
Haven't seen this one since the theater, I thought "Hey, it's been ten years, I'm a different person, maybe I will come to appreciate this film, maybe there is something there."
And this is the credit I will give the Zombie film, I've never forgotten it. In a world full of very blah, forgettable remakes, this one sure has stuck.
