I have rewatched this film for the first time since theatre and I admit plotting was bit too much and bit too dumb for my taste. Also the suspension of disbelief is really maxed out.
But on the other hand it has everything that I love about action film genre. Setpieces are incredible, Cavill as a villain hits all the spots and film is really fast paced and humorous when its needed. I also love that this is one of the last franchises that doesnt prioritize political correctness over filmmaking.
