Should’ve gotten a Prius.

Such a shame. There’s a really strong character study here but the writing does too much in overcomplicating what could have been a simple, smart, and precise thriller. Too much vomit exposition and clunky / unnecessary (and sometimes corny) plot mechanics.

For a movie about morality, judgement, and religion, In Bruges never took itself too seriously (in fact, it's hilarious and witty) but at the same time, never loses its poignancy and heart.
