Absolutely stunning cinematography and worthwhile project that's being documented.
That being said, as a film, there are many flaws. Pacing and organization of ideas made this a slog to get through. Also, this movie is all tell and no show; this could be considered a necessary feature of the documentary approach, but the tone did not coincide with this decision of filmmaking.
Overall, this movie is a visual achievement but nothing more. It wishes to represent humanity and artistic vision but instead comes across as heavy handed and contrived. Some scenes were so unbelievably forced, I was cringing. Very disappointing.
