Turquoise blue sea water, an empty beach and two women strolling in its vicinity and look as graceful as in a painting.
The camerawork is stunning, it expresses more than
the dialogues. The paint peeling off from the doors, the repetition of dresses, the card games in candlelight, these details are striking. The love story is as poetic as it can get, drawing inspiration from the mythological episode of Eurydice and Orpheus.
After every rewatch I'm loss for words about how beautiful this movie is. A treat for art lovers, for lovers of good cinema. It never loses its color, on the contrary, each time it shines brighter 🎨
