Everyone sucks and has awful hair. Maybe if I was a media type (or wanted to be) I'd dig this, but it screams of journalistic self-importance. Just because the setting is the news doesn't mean all the office drama is automatically interesting or important.

While the plot circled a point about flash and entertainment super-ceding the actual story when it comes to broadcast news, the examples chosen to illustrate their case fell flat.

I'm not a fan of Jim Carey or this performance but even I felt for The Grinch-- The Whos are a horrible people and Whoville is a terrifying dystopian nightmare. Not a single right angle in sight! I'd torture them too.
