"Doomed planet. Desperate scientists. Last hope. Kindly couple. Superman."

Happy #SupermanDay! This along with Superman vs The Elite are the best straight from comic books adaptations DC animation ever did (They are both in my top 5 in my DC Animated Movies list).

It goes without saying, but early DC animation was phenomenal, along with this movie.

This movie does a great job showing why Superman is such a great character with a great universe to explore. Grant Morrison's imagination…

    Stargate Origins

You're no god, you're not even a man.

This was the most pointless, and cheapest addition to the Stargate franchise. Everything done in this doesn't fit with the established canon set in the first Stargate movie and the excellent Stargate TV shows (SG-1, Atlantis, and Universe).

"Nothing is born from lies, and greatness is not what you think."

Such an uplifting movie to end the year. Not only is Gal Gadot great in this movie with a tear-inducing performance, but everyone is great in this as well. Including Lilly Aspell as young Diana, who does great at the beginning of the movie! Kristen Wiig's performance as Barbara Ann Minerva/Cheetah was spot-on and chilling in some spots. Same with Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord. Chris Pine returns…

Wonder Woman: They said the Age of Heroes would never come again.
Batman: No, it will. It has to.

While BVS (Ultimate Edition) was about deconstructing these characters, this film is ultimately about reconstructing these iconic characters. Everyone in this movie has time to shine, especially Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the heart of this movie, Cyborg (played phenomenally by Ray Fisher). We finally got to see his story arc in full and it baffles my why it was cut at…
