Often more like a movie imitating what it thinks movies are, than a movie that can stand on its own two feet, and chalk full of references that would probably be really cool if I got them. Unfortunately I abandoned my theatre-kid ways 3 years ago and this did not make me miss them. It did, however, make me wish someone else directed this.
