Inferno ★★★★

Maybe my favourite Argento - no stops for sanity, just sadistic pieces of bombast separated by swampy nonsense. The opening underwater corpse hall, the rabid cat attack, the cat-drowning-followed-by-rat-attack, so many beautiful colours and precious little restraint. Shame it ends in anticlimax, one  especially unsatisfying next to the witch reveal in Suspiria.
