    Has moments, but its utterly rudderless direction, awful writing, and overall cheapness make this nearly indigestible, ironic given that this is essentially streaming content slop for the American consoomer, and I'm dumb -- or masochistic -- enough to watch it. Too much anime bullshit, too much retconning, and recasting, this is the ultimate fan service, meant to please fans of the originals, the prequels, and the simpletons who think more diverse casting is a sign of progress and not total corporate cynicism.
