Wanna hear a joke? Okay, lemme find one 📖
Heath Ledger remains untouched. Something about this adaptation just works, thought—and it works well. It was bizarrely uncomfortable at times, although I’ve seen much more grueling films. It was painstakingly awkward for a moment, but I’ve said much lamer things. It was visually full. It meant something. And most of all, it told its own story without completely tossing out the source material. I loved it, and you should too.
