Kilian is Dead’s review published on Letterboxd:
Somehow messier and less concise than the original (which is a candy-colored, chaotic, perfect watch). I was disappointed that this had an obtrusive, unnecessary, large male role (despite the actor playing said role) that really clashed with the subject matter and theme, and there were some things involving that character that felt a little too sweet and romantic (i.e. Call Me By Your Name-y) instead of fitting this sexy spooky body horror world.
Honestly, without the doctor’s storyline, I probably would have found this almost as wonderful as the original.
