My favourite movie when I was 2, my favourite now. The way I adore this movie hasn’t changed but the way I perceive it has. I understand the themes much better and the love among the characters is so much more apparent now. It’s also scarier than I remember and I was genuinely panicking at times lol. I don’t even know if I’m being objective here but this movie is near perfect for me.

I get such intense nostalgia every time I watch this movie. It might not be the best (that would be prisoner of azkaban) but it feels the most like home to me. These characters and this world has brought me so much joy over the years. Just pure, giddy  happiness. And the score is actually just magic in musical form it’s perfect.

Ps. I’m super hyped for Hogwarts legacy I literally can’t wait. It’s like a dream come true honestly

I wasn’t expecting myself to like the silence in this as much as I did. The dialogue is bare minimum but the silence and looks carry so much weight. The sound of the paintbrush and the fire crackling and them just walking were oddly satisfying. Every scene in this is a gorgeous painting and the ending was incredibly beautiful even if it wrecked me emotionally. I can’t really explain how this movie felt, but it was very comforting to just witness how it unfolded. Intoxicating in the best possible way.

Was in a mental funk and I really needed something fun and refreshing and holy heck this was every bit as good as people say. This is the most uplifting movie I’ve seen in a while no question.

There’s just so much heart in it. And in the characters. I heard someone say Jack Black is when you max out charisma in a game character or something, and that sentiment is pretty evident in this movie. He was really made…
