    I think I've said before; anything set in the Amazon, and I'm hooked (if you'll pardon the pun). Can definitely see where Eli Roth got the inspiration for 'The Green Inferno', a film I love. Enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed 'Cannibal Holocaust', underneath the gritty exploitation there are genuine ethically relevant conundrums. Love the special effects, and the bit with the piranhas! Sadly, it seems that Amazon (he he) have cut or censored alot of this movie? If so this is a shame. A great cannibal flick that has real bite, groovy Italian soundtrack room

    Hard to rate this film as it so poignantly follows the intimate life of artist Bob Flanagan and his journey with sado-masochism and cystic fibrosis.     This film is a slap. Yes, okay, it has all the usual, cringe-inducing tropes; a gaggle of teenagers making some questionable decisions, irrleavent subplots and a final girl riddled with trauma. Because women can never be bad ass just because they are bad ass, they have to also have been on some kind of emotional jounrey, bla bla.
