On the 29 March 1976 Jack Nicholson walked away from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles with the Academy Award for Best Actor. A well deserved win if not for the existence of Tim Curry in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Curry chews up every scene he is in; magnetic, iconic and absolutely fabulous. Tim Curry could pull off Randall P McMurphy, but Jack Nicholson couldn’t pull off Frank N Furter. Prove me wrong.
