Hadn’t realized this was the threesome short and cancer film I’ve been meaning to write all rolled into one.
La vida es como la espuma, por eso hay que darse como el mar.

Not a fan of this film. It had all the ingredients of a sweet little french film, but none of the subtlety, heart, or personality to make it special.
There were a couple of major problems for me.
An awareness of cause and effect seemed completely absent. Because Leo and Remi are best friends, when they start school they appear so close that classmates mock them and call them gay. Leo is so disturbed by how others see him that…
“I am going to rob my cousin in the morning.”… [12hrs later]… “Ooops, he robbed me first.” Is not the type of thinking I would label “Criminal.” (Though it is criminally bad screenwriting.)
Great premise. Bad script. Fine acting. Story structure is clunky, not logical, not character driven, and has no sense of urgency. Not sure what there is to like here, President Obama.
