This is exactly how a jukebox musical should be made. Not just Taron Egerton belting out tunes on a stage; real set pieces with incredible choreography and amazing visuals. 

Fun fact: my pipedream is to someday write and direct a dark fantasy musical. This film is the first I’ve seen that sort of echoes what I want to make; cheerful, upbeat songs set to fantastical choreographed scenes of semi-realism. My story is just slightly different in that it has weapons, murder and undead warriors....
