My grandad has moved in with me and my parents while this situation lasts so we’ve been catching him up on all the films he reads about but doesn’t get to see. Last night he watched Midway and tonight we showed him this. Halfway through he started putting his shoes on to have a smoke break and I said “don’t worry, I can pause it for you”.

He replied “don’t bother, I’ve sat through enough of this shit. Bring back Midway!”

He was joking about Midway because he said that was also shit, but clearly taste isn’t hereditary.

Also my mum just can’t help but drop that she used to hang out with Dexter Fletcher in the 90s whenever he comes up in any way in our house. Tonight was not an exception.
