Descent Western creature/folk horror. Based on a short film from the same writer/director. Loved the lighting. Nighttime is an important element of the story. A few scenes are clearly darkened in post processing and look cheap. But the ones that are actually shot in the dark are great. Slow second act. But the wait is worth it.

Forgettable. I also couldn’t ignore how unsettling their hyper-realistic freckles and skin imperfections looked compared to the rest of the film. Very odd artistic choice.

Dude looks like Sid from Ice Age. 

I think my dumb joke when I first heard about this film is actually a fitting review of the mess that I just watched. I love Andy Serkis. But this might be his weakest villain ever.  

A huge disappointment if you're a fan the series. A very average crime flick if you’re not familiar with Luther & Co.!!
