  sort of went from loving this film, to not knowing where i stand, to maybe disliking it? the cinematography, the sufjan stevens and michael stuhlbarg of it all, always so beautiful.
  but rewatching this now that i'm a bit older, the age gap makes me deeply uncomfortable. especially with the age gap being so visually obvious between the actors. armie hammer is and looks 30 not 24?? and bitch, where's the chemistry?! and somehow there are more hetero sex scenes than gay…
